»spaces are not exterior to bodies; instead, spaces are like a second skin that unfolds in the folds of the body.« Sara Ahmed

In historic city centres FLINTAQ were not envisioned as equal participants in public space. As part of the LOCALIZE Festival "Center Shock", this issue was explored and made tangible in Potsdam’s historic centre through an installation, participatory workshops, and a walk.

The installation created a space where tilting the blinds revealed a dialogue between quotes and the surrounding environment – inviting reflection and observation.
The workshops encouraged participants to examine their own position as FLINTAQ in the city centre, also from a historical perspective. How do FLINTAQ move through and experience these spaces?
In a collaborative artistic process, we worked with a group of women to investigate, question, and temporarily transform public urban spaces.
